The Supported Living Services Program is designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities to live within their own residence in the community. IHCOS assists individuals to live independently within their home by providing supports specific to each individual’s needs. The desired outcome includes the individual’s ability to live independently and with the highest quality of health and safety achieved through the supports and services provided by the agency. The focus of this program is to provide individualized supports in a personalized manner to those individuals living in their choice of home, as well as location, and with whom they would like to reside with. Some services under this program include training, support, and/or supervision in skills such as personal care, protection, social and leisure, and transportation. IHCOS strives to provide these supports as well as assist the individual in accessing and participating in community activities the individual is interested in. Through provision of the services under this program, it is our goal to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and choosing the direction of their own lives in the most positive and beneficial manner to them. |
